With a classic central medallion surrounded by the so-called 'frogs' foot' pattern (more likely symbolizing a tree?), the inspiration for many of these designs are seen through out Central Asia, not only Tibet.

The blue/red primary border suggests the 4th quarter of the 19th century date, while the secondary 'pearl' border is a classic..
